Dilution Records Before Buying JY-2114 Detergent Defoamer

Procurement intent: define the dilution and detergent-system records a buyer should collect before approving JY-2114 Detergent Defoamer for a commercial cleaner.

Juyou’s product catalogue lists JY-2114 Detergent Defoamer as a detergent defoamer candidate. The public product page is useful for identifying the grade and starting a supplier discussion, but a detergent buyer still needs evidence from the actual concentrate, the intended dilution and the cleaning process. A defoamer that looks suitable in a bottle sample is not automatically qualified in every surfactant system, water condition or use concentration.

JY-2114 detergent defoamer dilution and foam-control procurement records

Separate concentrate checks from use-dilution checks

Many detergent projects review physical compatibility in the concentrate first. That record should include the complete surfactant package at a non-confidential level, the addition sequence, processing temperature, appearance after mixing and short-term storage observations. If haze, deposits, viscosity change or separation appears, the purchasing file should show when it appeared and whether the control sample behaved differently.

The second record is the intended use dilution. Dilution can change foam generation, collapse and recurrence, especially when the customer’s water quality differs from the development water. Record dilution ratio, water hardness or source, test temperature, foam-generation method, observation times and whether cleaning quality or residue changed at the same time. Keep these two records separate so a candidate is not accepted only because one environment looked acceptable.

Build a fair comparison

  • Identify the detergent format, surfactant system and target use concentration.
  • Prepare the current control and JY-2114 candidate with the same documented process.
  • Use representative water and a repeatable foam-generation method for the diluted cleaner.
  • Record foam knockdown, recurrence, appearance, deposits and any cleaning-related endpoint.
  • Request current TDS, SDS, sample guidance, package options and quotation conditions from Juyou.

Do not approve a defoamer only because it gives the lowest visible foam height in one beaker. A cleaner still needs to perform its cleaning task, rinse acceptably and remain stable through the buyer’s practical storage and use conditions. If foam suppression improves while cleaning or surface appearance worsens, the result is not a completed qualification.

Resolve uncertain fields before scale-up

The RFQ should state which fields are known and which remain pending. If the buyer has not confirmed water hardness, soil type, storage temperature, use concentration or regulatory documentation needs, mark those items as open. Juyou can then respond to a defined purchasing question rather than a vague request for a universal detergent antifoam.

For plant or customer trials, retain the lot identity, sample quantity, packaging condition and preparation history. When a result differs between the laboratory and a customer site, these records help the team review water, dilution, soil, equipment and dosing before assuming the grade itself has failed.

FAQ

Can a concentrate stability check approve a detergent defoamer?

No. Concentrate stability is only one part of the record. The diluted cleaner and the actual foam-generation conditions also need to be checked.

Is stronger foam suppression always better for a detergent?

No. Foam control should be balanced with cleaning quality, rinse behavior, appearance and customer requirements. Record those endpoints separately from foam height.
